Currently watching… Alright here’s the deal – i realize the bachelorette / bachelor is horrible, but I still watch it every week because I like it as much as I hate it. But after this week’s episode I think I hate enough that I don’t really want to watch it anymore. I’m defintely done after this season at least. Seattle City Light has this program for south seattle (i.e. poor people) where they come in and replace every one of your lights with energy efficient ones. They also give you new smoke alarms and shower faucets all for free! They even replaced all the tall floodlights in our ceiling meaning I won’t have to deal with them for 10 years. Bonus

Energy Saving Fun Fact of the Day (this is a one day feature): If every US household replaced ONE standard (incandescent) bulb with one CFL bulb it would eliminate the equivalent of the emissions created by 1,000,000 cars over a year and save enough energy to light 3,000,000 homes per year
