Shout out to…
Bone City!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steph, Molly, Dre, Britt, Mel, Morgan, Sam, Miller, Kellen, Moopie, Skeelo, Ollie & Fisher. They’re all readers of the week this week. 3 Championships in 4 years. I just got a call from the Chicago Bulls…they want their dynasty back. What a crazy night, we won the first game kicking against the wind in chilly fall conditions 1-0. We had a feeling that the first team to score would probably win, and we got that run late in the game. After that it was a really tough match against the gold team, we had gone up 5-1 going into the last inning after some stellar play, but gave up 4 runs to let them tie it! Fisher had one go over his head for one of his very few mistakes on the whole year. But that night we spelled redemption F.I.S.H as he kicked in the winning run in the bottom of the inning for a thrilling Bone City victory. After winning 2 games by 1 run we just rode the momentum to a dominating 12-3 win in the championship.
This is really devastating….
(new custom prompt!!) I lost my Seeley Lake water bottle lost night because for the first time ever the bartender at leny’s noticed it and said I couldn’t bring it in. crap. it had a good run though, i’m surprised I had it that long to be honest
Shout out to…

Shout out to…
Good luck the Cats and Dawgs this weekend on a couple of homes games even though I won’t be able to make it to either.
The soapbox…
Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!! Now onto the interview with Erin
Erin Andrews: First off, congratulations! How does this feel?
Blade: Amazing. Honestly, I feel like I’m better than everyone else I see today. Just joking…
Erin Andrews: How did you manage to win 3 straight games like that?
Blade: Total team effort, I’m really proud of them. We felt like we had a chance to win throughout every game, nobody got down on themselves or anyone else.
Erin Andrews: What was going through your head when you came up to kick with your team up 3-1 in the semifinals and 2 outs?
Blade: It was nice to be winning against such a tough team, I think it was Miller’s home run that put us in that position, but I knew we needed more. So I looked right at the team and said without hesitation “I’m sending those guys home”…those guys need to go to their home. And I knew once I got up to the plate that’s what I had to do, and BAM…I sent them. I think that moment was the most focused I had ever been my entire life
Erin Andrews: Tell me about Fisher’s game winning kick
Blade: He’s a tremendous player. Even after they tied the game our confidence in ourselves to finish was high. It’s not very often you get a walk off kick like that to win a championship, so credit also goes to the people that got on base and put us in that situation with only 1 out. Speaking of getting on base, our girls just did a tremendous job of that last night – and that sometimes goes unnoticed. I mean I think Steph only failed to get on base once this entire season, that’s a crazy stat
Erin Andrews: How was Leny’s?
Blade: Great, just wasn’t able to stay as long as I wanted. 3 kickball games takes a lot out of you and it’s hard to gauge your buzz for that long you know? Always fun to be there as a champion though
Erin Andrews: What on earth are you guys pointing at in that picture?
Blade: I don’t remember
Erin Andrews: Can we still do interviews even though the season is over
Blade: obvsolutely (new word)
Erin Andrews: Congrats to you and your team
Blade: Thanks Erin, and thanks to the fans who showed up and showed their support.
