wolf

This is really interesting…

I got a wolf jacket for Christmas

Shout out to…

All my friends and family for a fantastic Christmas (see above).  I had a wonderful time in MT and it was great to see everyone.  The only thing that wasn’t great is when Village Inn decided to take an extra day off besides the standard Christmas Eve & Christmas.

Lately I’m thinking…

Okay get ready, you may have heard this before but…sorry for the lack of updates.  I promise to do better next year?  Okay phew, I think that worked.  I never really update on ‘vacation days’, and yesterday I had went to bed at 2:00 Am to get up at 4:00 AM and get on a flight headed straight for work…so that obviously was a good idea, but I’ve got a pretty good feeling about this going forward.

Shout out to…

Bonus shout outs:  Holzer on his 29th birthday.  Britt & Sam on getting engaged.  Gunnar and Kristen on getting engaged.  Ryan, Jen, Nebel & Shana for coming to Seattle for new years!

The soapbox…

Have a fun and safe next year everyone

Shout out to…

The new Reader of last Week…Scott Hitchcock!!  Scott is an officer in the Seattle Pizza Club (seen here awarding 3rd place in the frozen pizza cook-off).  He’s a gonzaga alum who also shows his fair share of support for the Bobcats, including attending the Cat-griz satellite party this year and cheering on the good guys victory.  On January 31st he will be on a massive scavenger hunt trying to win one free dinner at Canlis per year for a friend of his choice, as he was one of the winners who found the hidden 1950s menu.  Congrats again, and don’t forget I owe you a tall boy

This is really interesting…

Blazey, Miller, Moop and I went to the all you can eat meat buffet for lunch today for 2 hours.  I’m currently incredibly full, don’t feel well, and for some reason feel really paranoid.  I’m also hot.

Shout out to…

Bonar on his bday and everyone who came out to celebrate with some Karaoke on Saturday night!  I seriously had an awesome time.  I knew my Kelly Clarkson shirt would come in handy sometime in the last 6 years.

This is really interesting…

I made up a joke on Saturday.  Q:  What do you call a money store in California???     A:  Burrbank.  ZING BAM AHHAHAHAHHAH JAJAJAJAJJA

Lately I’m thinking…

Things got really busy at work today and I don’t have enough time to crunch all the numbers and announce the reader of the week.  It’s also 6:00 right now.  But since I will be out of town and not updating next Friday (which is also Christmas Eve already, and Jesus would be reader of the week that day), I’m just going to bump today’s winner to Monday of next week.  So come on back now ya hear

This is really interesting…

speaking of busy, here’s an example.  I organized a happy hour for like 15 of us today at 4:00, but then something urgent came up and I had to stay back and work on it.  So basically I planned a happy hour for 15 people not including myself.  Awesome.

Shout out to…

Seattle Pizza Club!! Not only was last night’s outing a success, but they all chipped in and bought Steph and I a Pizzazz!!  It looks completely ridiculous, but it basically cooks pizza from either the bottom, the top, or both, one delicious slice at a time.  It’s basically the same thing to the pizza industry as the wheel was to the travel industry.

This is really interesting…

Company party tomorrow during the day and then a Wedgwood Karaoke party tomorrow night.  BAM!  On a side note, I bought 60 mini candy canes for $2.00 yesterday!!  That’s less than 4 cents a cane!  That’s outrageous!!  Well then I left them all at karaoke, but still

The Soapbox…

Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!!

This is really interesting…

I got a text from Ryan last night about a new Angry Birds game…while playing the new Angry Birds game!  I’d like to think that was just a huge coincidence, but honestly that could have happened at about any point the last couple days

Lately I’m thinking…

Isn’t it weird when you are listening to the radio in your car going somewhere, and when you get back in to leave the same song is on again that was on when you shut your car off?  I’ve always wanted to time it perfectly so that not only is it the same song, but it also picks up at the exact same spot.  I’m not sure how to do that though.  I guess if I want that I should just listen to a CD, but that wouldn’t be as CRAZY!

Lately I’m thinking…

SPC tonight followed by Thursday Karaoke!!

This is really interesting…

At the beginning of the week I was caught in an absolute downpour multiple times, because when I left my house or office, for lunch for example, it wasn’t raining, but by the time I walked back I got soaked.  Yesterday my hair was dripping water onto my keyboard…NOT SAFE!  So the last couple days I’ve been walking around in the non-rain with my umbrella like an idiot.  I’m starting to think it’s an anti-rain stick, and something like that could be worth a lot money.

“Guys, I’m eating junk and watching rubbish! You better come out and stop me!”

“Hello I’m Mikey and I’ll be your tour guide.  Hope you choose to come to MSU!”

This is really interesting…

we ordered sandwiches from Smarty Pants to go yesterday (yes I eat sandwiches now, I eat everything) and they usually include a plastic knife to cut the sandwich in half, but didn’t this time.  So for some reason I grabbed one of our butter knives and took it upstairs.  It wasn’t even a serrated butter knife though, you couldn’t tell which end was supposed to be the cutting end, so it was kind of hard to cut the sandwich and steph kept making fun of me.  When we were done I very graciously offered to take everything downstairs, but of course wanted to do it one trip.  Steph didn’t think I could, so I piled everything up and was like “bam!”.  But then I dropped the knife, it hit my foot, hurt like crazy so I fell and dropped everything I had just picked up.  the moral of the story is, I’m glad I grabbed the stupidest knife we had instead of one designed to actually cut something (i.e. my foot)

This is really interesting…

Did you know the Carolina Panthers logo is designed to resemble the borders of both north and south carolina, as it’s considered the team of both states?

Currently Watching…

Okay Marcel the Shell was hilarious, but I’ve laughed even harder at this video both times I’ve seen it.  It’s one of those games that nerdy people play online where they can all talk to each other and collaborate on completing a mission.  Just wait until Leroy comes in (you need sound)

The soapbox…

“Going for a new amateur-recreational saucer-sled land-speed record. Clark W. Griswold, Jr!”

Shout out to…

The new Reader of the Week….Ryan Klitz!!  “Brother?  I’ve always wanted a brother!”  Ryan went to missoula for a bit and is a duck fan, but other than those two absolutely completely devastating features I can’t say a single bad thing about him.  Should be a fun week at the Klitz residence tonight as Ryan had a work bowling event at around 10:00 AM and Brett gets home from Italy today!!  You crazy kids have fun.  Ryan, I owe you a full bottle of red wine from the cellar, similar to the ones you always give me

This is really interesting…

Had a delicious iced grande chai and peppermint brownie today from Starbucks, so it’s been a pretty good day.  All for the low price of around 50 dollars

This is really interesting…

We got thai food for dinner last night (yes I eat thai food, I eat practically everything now.  i.e. the pieces of meat from the meal) and every single time I’ve ordered thai food, no matter how many stars I ask for it’s not hot.  So last night I told Steph I wanted “100 stars”.  Well pretty sure she just told them 5, but the kicker is I ordered the spicy beef which already had a star next to it indicating it was spicy.  So that’s basically 6 stars when you add them up!  Anyways it wasn’t bad for a while, but then I think I got a Thailand death pepper up my nose or something, because I was sneezing uncontrollably.  I was basically gasping for air in between my sneezing frenzie while my eyes were watering and my nose was running.  I bet I was sneezing about 25 times per minute.  I’m thankful to be alive to tell you this story to be quite honest.

Currently Watching…

Top Chef All Stars.  I’m going to puree or deconstruct something.

The soapbox…

Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!!  There’s no football on tomorrow, what on earth are we supposed to do on Saturdays, I can’t remember.  “Tons of stuff…late night pitch and putt…go to the livestock auction and cruise the 4-H babes…throw stuff off the bridge.  What do you feel like doing?”

This is really interesting…

Seeley has a bigger head than me.  And here we go…

Currently Reading…

If you live in Seattle I don’t recommend looking at the weather forecast.  Although it’s actually been nice and sunny most of the last 2 days, it was absolutely pouring yesterday morning.  I walked Seeley around the block, and by then my jeans were so completely soaked that I could feel drops of water running down my shins.  I had to change my jeans and boxers before going to work.  It was bye bye turkey boxers, hello snowman boxers.  Almost like a change of the seasons!

This is really interesting…

Kansas plays Kansas State in basketball on both my sister’s birthday and my dad’s birthday.  CRAZY

This is really interesting…

I may have locked up an off-site karaoke gig in January.  This could be the big break I’ve been waiting for.

The soapbox…

“Ma’am, I’m eight years old. You think I would be here alone? …I don’t think so.”

Shout out to…

Stephanie Klitz on her Birthday!!!  Hope you have a good one!  I’m sure  you will…you were born for this day!  hahahhaah

This is really interesting…

well the Cats pretty much blew it, but they had a good season and I had an awesome time in Bozeman.  Really good to see everyone, and Nebel and Shana even surprised us in the Seattle airport and joined us on the airplane.  Turns out it was the Christmas stroll Saturday night which was a blast too.  My food summary is Mackenzie River x2, Spectators x2, Papa johns, and Rosas.

Shout out to…

Tanner and Mikey, for hosting 14 people in their house all weekend!  I’ll be honest, it felt more like 50.

Shout out to…

UW for going bowling, obviously.  From 10th in the Pac 10, to 7th last year, to 4th this year, pretty good turnaround in 2 years.  On a side note, we rode on the UW Alaska Airlines plane from Bozeman to Seattle

The soapbox…

“Buzz I’m going through all your stuff, you better come out and pound me”

Lately I’m thinking…

Karaoke tonight?

This is really interesting…

New wiper blade city!!  Bosch evolution all-season bracketless…that’s what I’m talking about.  I mean I haven’t tried them yet, as it’s not raining today, but I bet I get my chance one day

This is really interesting…

I was pulling in the parking garage at work today, and when I pushed the button for a ticket the thing opened without giving me a ticket, so I was like “sweet free parking!” and headed in.  now I’m wondering how I’m going to get out without a ticket…

Lately I’m thinking…

Everything I want for Christmas requires a permit, like a gun and a bobcat, so I’m not sure what to expect this year

The soapbox…

“I don’t know how to pack a suit case. I’ve never done this once in my whole life.”

This is really interesting…

Seeley found another blue pen to apparently chew on.  This is basically the face she makes when she knows she did something wrong. She’s basically punishing herself as I’m not the one who has to walk around with blue feet all embarrassed.  I do have to pick up some blue poop though i guess…

Shout out to…

Mitch and Lisa Thompson who are expecting their first baby!!  Congrats!!  I feel like it’s “adult week” or something on the blog.  Anyways, early favorites on baby names are as follows:  boy – Blade.  girl – Larry Johnson.  We’ll keep you updated if they change

This is really interesting…

I have a business phone that currently has 1 missed call, 1 number saved, and 1 speed dial…and they are all Joe’s work phone.  If you have a business phone let me know so I can call you and we can do some sales.

This is really interesting…

Seeley the dog walks into a bar and the bartender says, “why so blue?”

The soapbox…

“I took a shower washing every body part with actual soap; including all my major crevices; including in between my toes and in my belly button which I never did before but sort of enjoyed.”
