Lately I’m thinking…

Well that was a really, really fun last trip to vegas ever.  On a bonus side note, I’m now the proud owner of this custom designed fanny pack

Currently Watching…

I mean what do you want me to say about the Bachelorette this season – that I’m not watching it?  I can say it if it makes you feel better.  But unfortunately this is now my 4th season in a row of not watching it ever again

This is really interesting…

Yesterday Seeley ate a mixed assortment of some Hersheys, Hersheys dark, krackle, and Mr goodbar (well not that many Mr Goodbars because I ate most of those).  Anyway, that bag of candy ends up not being a very good deal once you factor in a visit to the vet.  Luckily she had to go in this week for her annual “wellness exam” anyway, but it seems kind of strange getting her wellness checked after downing a bag of chocolates & wrappers.  Anyway, Steph reports back that both Seeley and I are too skinny

This is really interesting…

I’m golfing at Chambers Bay this weekend.  The US Open is there in 2015.  That should be just enough time to repair the course.

Lately I’m thinking…

I’m heading to Vegas in 2 days for a little cutting street reunion/bachelor get together.  It’s terrifying.

This is really interesting…

Tanner is heading to Vegas a day early because of limited alegiant air flights out of Bozeman, and just planned on staying with his buddy Hawkins the first night.  Well apparently Hawkins is in missoula right now and doesn’t have enough money to get back home to Vegas…where he lives.   So tanner has to stay in a hotel by himself the first night.

This is really interesting…

For the path with art party last weekend they had 2 kegs.  They didn’t finish either one, so I had to return them yesterday half-full.  Most embarrassed I’ve ever been.

This is really interesting…

The patio area on the side of our house is completely redone (thanks for the ‘dirt stomper’ skeelo!), which means we removed the cement stairs as well.  So instead, I was looking for a ladder we could use to go up and down.  I found this one, which is basically exactly what I wanted.  But when I went to buy it I realized it was meant for parakeets and was about 8 inches tall.  Shoot.  When I showed it to Steph she seriously couldn’t stop crying for like 3 minutes, made me regret not just buying it anyway.

Lately I’m thinking…

Not sure how I feel about ‘The hangover 2’ previews.  I think ‘The Hangover’ is funny, but I also personally think it’s one of the most overrated movies of our generation.  And now that I bring it up, I think that ‘Saving Silverman’ is one of the most underrated movies.

Scott’s birthday tonight at Market Arms!  Tomorrow night, Betsy & Anya’s birthday at…Market Arms.  By the harbor

This is really interesting…

This has been the coldest spring in Seattle history, and it’s been 191 days since it’s been 70 degrees.  I’m trying to get to white pants and flip flop weather people!

I asked Tanner for some ideas on possible Yellowstone trips and he replied with a photo album saying “this is what the locals do”.  They’re both robins.  Great…

Had a blast last weekend.  Somebody forgot to tell us that Miller’s party should probably be over late Friday night though.  Thanks to everyone that came to the path with art event as well.  Here is a little slide show they made – looks like they decided to include 20 of the 1,000 pictures bonar took of himself

Seattle Pizza Club (SPC) tonight at varlamos!  Bonus shout out to Scott who had his birthday yesterday, and gets to celebrate with a pizza party tonight

Sometimes when I’m really thirsty and slam an entire glass of water, I wonder how much I would drink if the cup had an infinite amount of water in it.  I wonder that all the time actually.

I have this friend who’s hair is way too long and everyone is tired of it.  Should we cut it off like people did to my mullet?

This is really interesting…

Seeley is sleeping in the intersection or two hallways.  Pretty subtle.  I’ve basically just spent the whole day saying “sorry”.  Work to Seeley means tons of treats, basically mandatory petting, and lots of “free space”.

The Home Alone house is for sale (thanks for the heads up Britt).  I would move there in a heartbeat.  Seriously.  “When I grow up and get married, I’m living alone!”

Lately I’m thinking…

On behalf of Paul, Fisher and myself, Happy Cinco De Mayo!!!

This is really interesting…

(i.e horrible) speaking of cinco de mayo, i have a meeting tonight from 7:30-9:00!!!  (A video chat with India) What!  My boss said he didn’t realize it was cinco de mayo when he schedule it.  uhh the name of the holiday is the date!  It’s not quite as bad, but almost like saying “I didn’t know the meeting on July 4th was on the 4th of july!”.  Just incredibly devastating.

Lately I’m thinking…

Pretty short update today, but one important programming note – there is no karaoke tonight!  Apparently the Ale House made a scheduling change and didn’t inform the KJ, pfffff.  Party is still of course on for tomorrow night though.

This is really interesting…

Today is the 30th anniversary of Cuatro De Matto – Miller is officially 30 years old today.  Party is 10:00 at the Ale house on Friday night.  Of course there is also the “actual birthday day” celebration tonight (little red hen?), and then tomorrow just happens to be karaoke Thursday.  Oh and Miller also hopes to see you at the Path With Art fundraiser on Saturday.  Yikes-a-roni

This is really interesting…

Well it’s spring, which means the MT advertising is back in full swing in Seattle.  On my 15 minute commute to work I have to drive by 2 giant MT billboards with sunshine and nature (and if i look close enough, I feel like I can see myself in the 4th of july parade).  Anyway, it’s usually not very helpful as I drive to the office.

This is really interesting…

Everyone was right, having a girl is more expensive – Seeley is getting a new coat everyday!  She’s not doing a very good job taking care of them either.  I came upstairs this morning and the coat she got yesterday was lying on the floor.

Currently watching…

the finale of “3 for the show” on espn – really enjoyed that whole show.  My favorite part is while Cam Newton drove away from Radio Music Hall in a decked our escalade, locker was getting picked up in his dad’s ford taurus after giving a press conference at his high school gym.

Speaking of locker, I’m pretty jacked for him and UW on how everything worked out.  He was famously declared the #1 pick last year by Kiper (who also said it was “etched in stone” he would be the #1 pick this year), but chances are if he stayed in the draft last year he would have been broken down just like this year, and most people think he would have went behind bradford, probably in the 5-10 range, exactly like he went this year.  There was also a lot of concern about getting drafted with the CBA uncertainty, but really the fact it was in the in-between stage this year ended up leading to a QB frenzy in the draft since teams couldn’t trade, which helped.  But the bottom line is he came back for other reasons and won his last 4 games including a bowl win over nebraska, which is pretty sweet.  Tennessee seems like a pretty good situation for him as well, and they just so happened to always be my madden team

Lately I’m thinking…

Had a good (well, long) weekend with Paul in town.  The sounders game was super fun.  Everyone was wearing scarves in like 67 degree weather, but still fun.  A “USA” chant even broke out half-way through (and that was a day before we killed bin laden!), probably because we were playing Toronto.  On a side note, flying squirrel really comes in clutch towards the end of a night.

Lately I’m thinking…

speaking of killing bin laden, did you know Obama has a twitter page?? Seriously, his last tweet was “about to address the nation”.  Has a casual 2 million followers, so I guess a lot of people did know that.

This is really interesting…

The Path With Art fund-raising event is this weekend!!!  Should be great – best party yet.  Click here to buy tickets.  It really is a good cause, you should come.  Don’t forget to wear black and white.

Currently Watching…

Well I convinced Steph last night it was time to watch the finale of top shot.  So i went to the DVR, and clicked play on the latest item.  In a flash I thought I saw “reunion special” on it though so I went to stop it.  Seriously in 2 seconds all we saw was the very last couple seconds from the finale (because the reunion special happened right after the finale, and started recording the very last bit of the finale) and all we saw was a guy saying “i won top shot”.  Nothing after that as it finally registered my stop button.  Well, that saved us an hour I suppose.
