Current Status…

10! I’m pretty darn excited for Bozeman, even though it’s going to be a little chilly (won’t be as cold as last year though….right?). Here’s ol’ bobcat stadium on a sunny day. What’s fun is picturing half the people in those north stands all out tailgaiting in the little area with cars to the north. sports. CATS!

Lately I’m thinking…

I decided the meat place stresses me out. Every time i get there I wonder why we aren’t getting certain meats and if they’re ever going to come back around, like i would go hungry there or something. Then i start blaming individual servers for not stopping at our table. When in reality that’s just stupid, obviously they are going to come buy enough times to make you uncomfortably full, regarldess of how many times you told yourself you wouldn’t eat too much. Anyways it was super delicious, but i don’t want to go again for a while. Oh and Molly we made Ollie go, sorry. He did get me some parmasean pork so it was worth it. on a side note, moopie talked about taking a cab back to work afterwards…

This is really interesting…

so even after i knowledge bombed dr. heather yesterday, she informed me that fergie was on kids incorporated. Whoa i never knew that! That just goes to show that no matter how much Dr stuff i try and learn, heather will still find a way to out knowledge me – she has a better knowledge army if you will. Speaking of dr stuff i know that she probably doesn’t – fingernails grow faster than toenails – that’s why it sometimes seems one set needs cut and not the other! Oh and whichever fingers you use the most grow the fastest! beep…beep…beep….KA-BOOOM! knowledge torpedo

Lately I’m thinking…

Cats. Rosas. Mackenzie River. Snow. Cocktails. Tailgates. Cutting St Alumn. Table Games. specs. purple place. okay back to full sentences – rosas is delicous. I like their website – it basically lets you know they have a menu, some jobs available, and employees….it just doesn’t let you find out any details about those things. fun fact: In college I received 3 free shirts for ordering sixty 20 inch pizzas. for the kids

The Soapbox:

A couple quick hitters: Mikey I know you’re on vacation and you’re not expected to update the gadget – but i miss it. just an fyi. Mel Kiper has locker at #4 on his big board. Hey Mel, don’t be a JERK! take him off, thanks. Nebel – we’re tentative on the comedy show, sounds awseome! and i just bought blind tickets for seattle (that’s steph’s bday weekend), good call! Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!!

Steph and I were going to capitol hill the other day and stopped at a dog park we’ve never been to. The dog park must be expensive because it had a really cool view – this was downtown looking to the right, and if you looked straight ahead the stadiums were pretty much right below you with the sound behind them (not pictured). I’d say the only down side to the dog park was….there wasn’t a single other dog there when we went. So we had to rely on Seeley chasing a stick one out of every 9 throws in order for her to run around. nature?

This article about the 10 most annoying alarm clocks. Our manager sent it out yesterday because he was upset that people weren’t showing up to work on time for our daily meetings which start at 11:00 AM for the mobile team and 11:30 AM for the web team! Personally I like #s 10, 9, 3 1 and could see Steph breaking all of them after 2 days

This is really interesting…

Just like every person has a unique finger print, every person also has a unique tounge print. Did you know that Dr. Heather? Knowledge Bomb beeeeeeow BOOM. Also, poeople shed about 1.5 pounds of skin per year. Whoa! I can’t afford to lose that weight…

I’m going to the meat place for lunch and i’m going to try and get a haircut tonight. good talk

Lately I’m thinking…

Joey I’m glad you’re going to make it to Bozeman this weekend, and it’s pretty funny that you desribe it as showing up with designated drivers. On a side note, in case anyone else didn’t notice, joey had a tripod with him everywhere he went up here. We went to pick Brittney up for the aiport, and after sitting in the car for about 48 seconds joe got bored and decided to take pictures of us from the hood of my car…

Disclaimer: My point in the soapbox is to link to a website that is kind of interesting for UW fans, but it kind of takes a lot to explain for everyone, so hopefully you can just stick with me. On a side note, i’m definitely rooting for the twins tonight – that’s awesome they closed the gap and awesome they changed the rule of where to play the playoff game because of what happened to them last year

Current Status…

9.9 all i can think about it is rosas pizza

The Soapbox:

Okay so obviously if UW would have scored one of the 9 times or something they had first and goal inside the 5 yard line this would be a non-issue. And blaming refs for games when both teams had tons of opportunities isn’t worthwhile at all. (But I have a point so stay with me here) There were 2 big calls that either directly cost us points or gave points to the irish. One was when the Irish went for 2 at the end of the game. pictures show his knee was definitely down yards short of the end zone, but he got up and kept running and got the 2 points. The thing is there was no replay, even though the refs had been replaying every single play it seemed like. Without the 2 point our field goal would have won it. The other was when it looked like Polk (UW) ran for a touchdown, which they called but, then decided to review it. After both the announcers said there was no way they would overturn it, they did and called him down, even though there wasn’t any indisputable evidence of that. Congrats on making it this far – now click here for the demonstration

Shout out to…

Bone City – we had a good year. We beat an undefeated team in the semifinal on thursday 16-4 or something, but then fell in the championship by 2. We had 5 starters out on the last night and felt there were some “questionable” calls in the last game. Don’t worry though because the ref was partying it up pretty hard with her friends on the winning team after the game…. Everyone played great on Thursday though and it was a good/fun year and these are the kinds of things that motivate you to be better the next year. sports. kickball.

Lately I’m thinking…

I think I could catch a squirrel if I wanted to. There are a lot in our neighborhood and they don’t seem overly fast or smart to me. I’m scared they would bite me though and give me squirrel rabies or something (squabies). So i’ve been thinking about wearing a pair of heavy duty gloves around so if the opportunity presents itself I can go for it

This is really interesting…

Annie and Casey got married this weekend and had an open bar! Oh man, i seriously couldn’t contain my excitement, and the food was delicious too. Still, somehow I found myself at the bar next door at about 12:30 AM buying tequilla shots. Then someone casually said “okay now let’s go back to the place that has free liquor”. Doh! On a side note, if Annie still reads this thing – Congrats!

Wild Pacific. It’s basically a planet earth show about the pacific ocean and it’s islands. fun fact: i want to go fiji or new zealand. But a snowy bozeman will do for now – CATS!

This is really interesting…

I only saw one picture where my head was perfectly upright from saturday night, and this wasn’t it. I could really only either drink out of my costume or see out of my costume at a time, but not both. So I spent a lot of time just saying “i have a crooked head” when people I couldn’t really see tried talking to me. It was a super fun night, i’ll have some more photos throughout the week.

This is really interesting…

We are in the latest issue of Demaris’s favorite magazine, “US Weekly” – Ali Sweeney said “The Whrrl” is her favorite iPhone app. As a bonus, Jason the bachelor is on the cover, so it’s a good read no matter what.

Shout out to…

BRITTNEY ‘HALSETH IS MY NEW MIDDLE NAME’ SOUEIDI on her birthday! I look forward to seeing you this weekend saggy bottoms.

Current Status…

A monday 9.0 – MNF tonight combined with a short week and a departure to MOD pizza soon. Oh ya and I wore flip flops today and I think it might pay off if the sun ever comes out.

I’m on an emotional rollercoaster. Not good travel news out of the Soueidi camp – you rascals at least better make homecoming. We also have our last kickball game(s) tonight but some peeps out and a pretty decent chance of rain. I need to mentally focus. On a side note, nobody knows who that guy in the picture is

Lately I’m thinking…

I bless the rains down in Africa

yesterday on the way home I went to my bus stop, waited there for about 5 mnutes, then stared at my bus as it came, stopped, opened it’s doors, closed them, and then drove off. hmmmm good effort at least. So i caught the next one….

This is really interesting…

I got this program called “Synergy” that lets you use one mouse and keyboard for multiple different machines. So basically if you had a mac and a windows machine you could just move your mouse back and forth between machines. It’s out of control

The Soapbox:

I’d like to point out steph is the one who told me about the mariners prediction, apparently i forgot to mention that yesterday. It was also on PTI when i got home. I’ll leave the link up for one more day.

Lately I’m thinking…

I couldn’t bring myself to put up any party pictures from the last 9 days, i think it’s still too soon. So instead i’ll include this nice picture of a pony

Currently reading…

( & listening to) this little blog post about the mariners announcers making a crazy prediction about a player (tuiasosopo – these guys are everywhere) getting his first home run of the year. check it out – good stuff

“Chimps on the Edge” I saw some of it on Saturday, but watched the whole thing last night with steph on the discovery channel “explorer show” . I don’t know if I have any credibility, but it was a super interesting show

Homecoming is in less than 2 weeks – HAHAHHAHAH…..oh goodness gracious are you serious?

Skeelo – it was definitely not my idea to put all my pez dispensers in your dresser drawers. Okay, i’m glad we had that talk.

Shout out to…

Wow, that was quite the 9 day stretch. shout out to Mikey, Nebel, Joey, Holzer, Britt, Ryan, Steph and all the seattle peeps for a fun week and a half. Let’s do it again in 30 years or something

This is really interesting…

Not too sure, but Becca and Ryan might have ruined this guys picture. Personally I’m just glad everyone made it out okay

Lately I’m thinking…

sorry for yesterday’s lack up update, and today’s shorter one. I’m easing my way back into life as a contributing member of society

This status update from Linked In: “Andrew Whittle helped break the Guinness book of world records for ‘most people dressed as Pirates’ at the Portland Pirate’s Festival on 9/20” Uhhh i’m not sure if that’s anything that’s going to help advance your career, unless you’re trying to get a job as an actual pirate. In that case you might want to fly to Somalia, but don’t jack a US ship or you will get sniped (check out the show on the discovery channel)

Lately I’m thinking…

I think I hurt my neck taking this photo

This is really interesting…

Apparently Pearl Jam likes to rock (likes to rock?). I walked out of there and my head was ringing. Fun show though! Ben Harper opened for them which reminded me of the time in college when I got into Ben Harper and also was listening to some Pearl Jam and I made a mix with both artists on it. I called it “Pearl Harper” and still think it’s one of my greatest creative accomplishments….

Shout out to…

Mikey and Nebel for a fun time time in Seattle

This is really interesting…

Joey got here yesterday and at 11:00 PM last night we hit the point where someone asks “what’s a good two person drinking game”. Tanner I’m pretty sure you know what the answer was

The Soapbox:

Sorry for the lack up updates this week. I’ll do better tomorrow. On a side note it’s the first 2 rounds of kickball playoffs tonight. We have a bye in the first and then have a potential matchup against the unicorns for the 2nd week in a row. click this link for some motiviation…GET UP!

This is a picture of the two living things I own – Seeley and my yet to be named plant. I literally started laughing out loud after I took this picture and thought about putting it on my gadget. Maddie, one day down and only 5 more to go on plant care! (even though i haven’t done anything yet, i’m not sure if you’re supposed to)

This article about Ivar haglund – he started the seafood restaurant “ivars” here and was known as one of the greatest self promoters in seattle history. Apparently back in the day he though underwater travel was going to be huge, so he put giant billboards at the bottom of puget sound that said stuff like “Diver’s special, come on up for fish n chips, kids get free jello!”. This could have also fit under the “This is really interesting category”

Lately I’m thinking…

I’m going to see Pearl Jam tonight! Oh and nebel, pretty good points on the gadget. rats

This is really interesting…

So we all now what happened to “LaGarette Blount” on Oregon who was suspended for the year for flipping out in Boise. But did you know the running back who replaced him is named “LaMichael James”! What happens if he gets hurt, are they going to send in LePaul, or maybe LaChristopher! (yes i am aware my name is blade and i don’t have a lot of room to make fun of different names, but honestly at least my name isn’t LeBlade) (Okay actually when i wrote that i said it in a french accent so maybe that will be my french name)

The Soapbox:

Are you guys tired of me talking about Jake Locker yet? Okay Great! Here’s a quote from Pete Carroll a couple days ago: “That’s the best quarterback we’ve played in nine years here. Jake Locker has ridiculous talent, and had he remained healthy last year, Tyrone [Willingham] would still be coaching there.” and then reiterated that quote the next day after being reminded who he has coached against
