Tanner you’re lucky you’re alive – this is usually the last image people will ever see in their lifetime if they run into a bobcat. CATS!

OH GEEZE The Bachelorette started last night – what a disaster. That show is somehow tied for my least favorite show of all time and my favorite. This is THE last season I’ll be watching though

This is really interesting…

I mailed our census paperwork in like a month ago, but somehow they didn’t get it so they want me to fill it out again with a volunteer. I got out of it temporarily on Friday, and yesterday when she came back Steph, Seeley, and I hid until she went away. That’s probably a little unecessary, as that just means she’ll come back, but for some reason I really don’t want to talk to her. This gives me flashbacks to when a couple mormons came to our house in Billings and saw me trying to hide behind the couch. That was pretty awkward when I came out and let them in…

Lately I’m thinking…

I think the bachelorette is running out of guys and the guys are running out of things to say

Dave Matthews is taking 2011 off from touring – that means my streak will stop at 12 consecutive years for the concert at the gorge. I think it will be kind of fun to have labor day open next year though

Shout out to…

EVERYONE who attended the Path With Art fundraiser on Saturday, especially to holzer, nate, shana and the Klitz’s for coming in from out of town. I had a really fun weekend!! It’s for the kids

Lately I’m thinking…

Well the bad news is Rosas wouldn’t deliver pizza to Seattle Saturday night around midnight. The good news is they said I can get it in a couple months whenever I’m in Bozeman, MT. Something to look forward too I suppose

Shout out to…

BRITT HESSE! I was completely shocked to find I had a package delivered to me at work this morning as the only other mail I have ever got here has been an insurance card once a year. Then I was absolutely ecstatic to find out it was grape big league chew from Britt. By now my jaw is kind of starting to hurt because I just keep adding more to what I’ve already got, but it’s delicious!

The new Reader of the Week…..Molly Kolpin!! Here’s a picture of Molly from the 80s. She’s on the path with art committee and with the party coming up tomorrow I figured she would be the big winner. Unfortuntately I owe a lot of people drinks tomorrow night, so your free drink is elegible starting sunday morning at 10:00 AM. Molly also enjoys kickball and getting kicked out of seahawk games. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Current Status…

10! Chai-day Friday, nate and shana come into town today, holzer tomorrow, and Seeley the Dog comes home! I hope she even remembers who I am. if not I’m just going to give her lots of treats until she likes me again. NATURE

Current Status…

Update: probably actually a 9.8. I just remembered that as a celebration lunch for finishing an iphone app update we’re going out to lunch at …..a vietnamese place. I checked their menu, and they have 4 different sections of pho. That’s it. I guess a pizza party would have been too obvious a choice!!?

Lately I’m thinking…

CATS!

Seeley the Dog – she’s been in Portland since our trip to Boston and comes home tomorrow! Maybe the Klitz’s will even let her ride shotgun!

This is really interesting…

I opened my computer last night after steph had used it and the search term in the google box was “used pledge on my wood floors too slippery”. Anyways, if you haven’t been over in the last week or so you probably don’t want to wear socks in the house. I’d actually recommend something more along the lines of golf spikes or baseball cleats. Safety First

This is really interesting…

Steph and I ordered two adirondack chairs from home depot, and when I got home the boxes were just laying on the front porch in front of our door. I couldn’t believe the UPS guy would just leave the packages out like that for anybody to take. 30 minutes later I assembled them and then put them back outside…

Current Status…

Strong, to quite strong. Don’t care for this weather too much though – I could go for about 100% more sun and 20-30 more degrees of fahrenheit

Rooftop decks like Jeffrie’s in Boston. p.s. there are obvioiusly a lot better pictures from the Boston trip on actual cameras than on my iPhone. I mean we took pictures the entire day, every day. Getting on a bus, riding a bus, getting off the bus, walkind down subway stairs etc. on a side note, i’ve never been to the crystal rooftop deck in bozeman before I don’t think, and I would like to

Lately I’m thinking…

I wish product reviews on websites were never invented. Yesterday I decided I wanted to buy a small, cheap pack because thy were on sale. Well I tried to decide between two of them for 2 hours! They weren’t even that different, they were the same brand and even the same model name, just a little different variation. I had 10 tabs open in my web browser for two different items! Anyways it’s a problem and something I should just try to take it easy on. Oh at the end I ended up buying a 3rd choice that I looked at for a total of 6 minutes, probably mostly becuase it was called “Blade”. NATURE

So the night Heather graduated we walked over to her friend’s house who had also just graduated for a celebratory BBQ. What did we take to the party? Boxed wine and Heather’s half full bottle of Bacardi. For some reason I pictured doctor parties a lot different in my head, but I like it. Ain’t no party like a doctor party cuz a doctor party is safe

This is really interesting…

Steph asked me yesterday if the prius still had “new car smell”, which I think it does. Then
last night we went to via tribunali, and I left the pizza box with leftover pizza in her car all night. Not sure if the prius still has new car smell now, but it smells delicious.

Lately I’m thinking…

only 364 more days until next year’s hockey tryouts. I’ve got to toughen up

Currently reading…

The weather page – so far it doesn’t look too promising for porch cocktails (porch-tails) & sunburns this weekend Neebs, I’m hoping it’s just terribly innacurate since it’s more than 3 days away though like usual. I suppose house-tails with cards would be okay. it’s for the kids

Just got back from a great trip to Boston. Heather did indeed graduate, and Paul Revere does indeed not live in his old house anymore. Boston is an interesting/cool city, definitely different (i.e. felt smaller) than I imaged though. The only thing I would recommend is working on their street names – “Pond Street Place Private Way” seems a tad unecessary, especially if you are going to throw a little picture icon on it

Lately I’m thinking…

I had a pretty good doctor zinger the other day (I thought) – Q: “What does the head doctor say is the key to a successful hospital?” A: “Have a lot of patients”. Get it? “Patience”? Anyways, it was crickets when I said it

Shout out to…

Plantar!! Before we left I gave it some plant food (home depot…guy stuff) and watered it, and when we came back it has more life than at anytime except when we bought it. I can’t believe. The only thing I’m worried about is one of the reasons that it might be doing so well because it was hot & humid in our house with us being gone and the windows being closed for 4 days. That environment might be good for Plantar, but not for Steph, Seeley the Dog or I. I should have got a snow plant…like tundra

Lately I’m thinking…

I’m tired – I got up everyday in Boston by 8:00, which meant it was 5:00 AM in Seattle. My times are all kind of messed up now – we got home last night and I had dinner, which was midnight Boston time. I’m not sure when to eat and when to sleep, so I’m just going to try and do both as much as I can

The Soapbox:

I want a Boston accent, but I’m pretty bad it, unless I say “johnny” or “loser” to get me started correctly. Heather does a good impression, but definitely hasn’t picked up the accent naturally, and in fact seems to be going in the opposite direction based on how many times she said “Ya’ll come back now”

Shout out to…

No reader of the week as this is the last update for the week, but shout out to Heather who is graduating from med school on Saturday! (Actually I might have to change my rules of only having readers of the week on Fridays, because I’m missing 4 of the next 7, but we’ll deal with that later) Here’s a picture from graduation day at Duke 4 years ago. Fun Fact: They never remove those castle things from the field, so sports just have to play around them

This is really interesting…

I had some pretty good laundry zingers last night. First I had to hang up one of steph’s shirt whose neck is as big as a family size pepperoni and sausauge from Village Inn, so I said “this shirt is literally ‘hanging’ on for dear life”. Then I slipped a dollar in the pile of clothes and when Steph saw it I accused her of money laundering. Zing! Right? oh geeze sorry

This is really interesting…

Oh ya then I told her about the shop we ALMOST opened in college called “Soxes, boxes, and Fishes”. It’s your one stop socks, box and fish shop! She didn’t believe so I text paul. He confirmed it by guessing the name, to which Steph replied “good gosh I was actually hoping you were joking”

Current Status…

9.9 – Iced grande chai-day and I got a UW starbucks card – the barista said it was “cute” but it’s obviously bad ass. Side note, did you know there are 4 starbucks LESS than a block from my office? Anyways, I’m excited for Austin….Austin, Massachusettes

This is my desk drawer – notice the magazines full of darts on the right as well. At least I made some room in the middle for some business card things though, in case anyone wants one.

Lately I’m thinking…

Jakers, I’m apparently also not very good at keeping plants alive – Plantar is strugg-a-ling worse than us on a Sunday in Vegas. She was kind of holding on for a while, and literally 10 seconds after Steph went online and read not to put her (plantar) in direct sunlight or give her average amounts of water too often, she moved plantar in front of the window (after having ollie lift her up and smash her into the ceiling) and then gave her a modest 3 cups of water to drink. Now plantar looks like diedar, but I’ve made it my goal to rescue her. Wow, thanks for listening if you made it this far

9.7 – how abou that. It’s sunny out so I’m automatically 2 points higher than yesterday, and I just realized today is my Thursday as tomorrow is my last day of work for the week. We’re off to boston for heathers 3rd graduation in 8 years. You know a lot of people go to college for seven years. I know, they’re called…..oh I guess that actually applies here
