Lately I’m thinking…

no reader of the week this week as this is a super late update.  Next week for sure though!

Here’s a link to Steph’s post on my pizza eating for the new blog readers out there – pretty good stuff

This is really interesting…

Steph’s out of town but made it very clear I mail a package for her as soon as I possibly could.  So I took it to work yesterday, taped it all up, and then went to the post office to fill in the address.  Turns out it’s a Seattle address, about 1 mile from our kickball game that night.  I texted her to see if i should just drop it off but didn’t hear back in time so I mailed it.  So basically I paid $8.00 to have it shipped to a place that would take 1 extra day then me just dropping it off that afternoon.  I’m probably the first person in united states history to mail a package to someone in their same city

Shout out to…

Some newbies Mike Self and big Jim Miller for showing up to karaoke last night.  I had an awesome time.  There were these 2 girls there who were totally ringers, probably the best singers I’ve ever heard who did a bunch of songs.  And what was their last request??  “Anything for love” by meatloaf.  Well it’s safe to say since I was in charge and had a microphone that my name snuck into that lineup.  Oh and Bone City dominated, obviously.  I went 3-3, 3R and caught 3 pop-ups, no bid deal.

The soapbox…

Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!!  “Well, I have a microphone, and you don’t, SO YOU WILL LISTEN TO EVERY DAMN WORD I HAVE TO SAY!”  UPDATE:  This is my 200th gadget-blog update, congrats everyone who read more than one

I’m finally following my dreams of show biz – I will be hosting karaoke at the Wedgewood Ale House tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:00 PM. It would be super awesome if any of you guys could make it out for a fun filled night! I’m in kind of a tough spot where I’m traditionally pretty drunk when I sign, and pretty sober when I operate machines. In this case I need to find a balance where I can hopefully do both. I’m not sure how well a sober rendition of ‘Any man of mine’ will go over at 9:00 PM with a bunch of strangers though

Currently watching…

This hilarious video Dan Fienberg found with some bloopers from fisherman Bill Dance’s show. You don’t really need sound, but it’s way funnier with it because you get to hear him curse (assuming that “dagnabbit” is a curse word). This is now what I assume it’s like every time Tanner goes fishing.

This is really interesting…

(not intersting) I wanted to mess with Moopie yesterday while we were on gchat, so I tried clicking the “send voicemail” button hoping it would send some default message to his phone or something like “Blade tried calling you” in a robot’s voice. Instead my computer started ringing out loud so I quickly closed it. I then muted my volume and tried it again, but the problem is google automatically un-mutes the volume before it calls, so my computer once again started ringing. At that point 4 people in the office turned and looked at me trying to figure what was going on so i just stopped. I almost got you good Moopie!

It’s a lovely day in Seattle – HEAVY emphasis on the sarcasam

Happy Table Top Week, which I just made up because I’m going to run pictures of table tops the rest of the week. Why? “Well, I have a microphone, and you don’t, SO YOU WILL LISTEN TO EVERY DAMN WORD I HAVE TO SAY!” Anyways here are my “friends” Mikey and Jakers about to send me back down to earth. Thanks for the “hug”

This is really interesting…

Well it was a super nice sunny weekend – so I decided to sit on the patio for a while Saturday after I raked up the 8 or 9 leaves in the yard. Turns out I’m still the whitest I’ve ever been in my whole life. I think it’s pretty hard to get a tan in the middle of February in Seattle. I did have goosebumps pretty much the whole time though, because it was kind of windy if that counts

This is really interesting…

Somebody brought in sample powder packets of Anrold Palmer mix to work on Friday. So needless to say I had a couple “alcoholic Arnies” sitting outside saturday afternoon. I mean that’s just a fantastic drink, and I know that one totally saved me last time we went golfing in vegas. Click here for a great sportcenter commercial with Arnold Palmer

I don’t remember inviting Google to read my gadget/blog. Tanner I’ll try to put some good stuff in the soapbox today so Google gets a better impression of you

The Soapbox:

Dear Google, Tanner Keil is probably a good math teacher and a decent employee, especially in the winter when he actually tries to put in a full work week. He also has a rapist’s wit. Don’t index his mug shot

Shout out to…

MLK, totes obvs

This is really interesting…

There is a guy who hangs around downtown that drives this “ferrari” segway. I put ferrari in “quotation marks” because I don’t really think Ferrari is jumping into the performance segway market anytime soon. Notice the rims and phatty cart that can be attached. Oh and for good measure the guy who owns it rolls around in a Ferrari jacket and leather gloves. wow.

Current Status…

8.5 – Had a good weekend, dinner at volterra on friday night, open house at JB’s saturday followed by some Kings hardware (bar) then showshoeing yesterday. I also ate at the meat place with the whole company and ate the most meat, although not as much as I usually do so everything is still going okay. minus 1 point for having to work on a holiday, there aren’t even lights on in our office building lobby, it’s like a ghost town down here.

Lately I’m thinking…

We need more snow. The olympics are coming to the NW soon. Oh and so is Michael Phelps, via swimming through land….to the WINTER olympics….for some reason. Anyways this is probably about par for the kinds of updates you can expect from me on holidays.

The Soapbox:

“You hit two cones back there. Those could have been people… they could have been guests at her wedding”
